There are many korean restoran near Ampang area. I had been to severals korean restoran in Ampang. Every time go to korean restoran, we sure will order grill chicken or pork. This dish is accompanied by garlic slices and raw vegetables. Other than that, we will also order Bibimbap. Bibimbap is a simple but popular dish. It is a bowl of hot rice served in a bowl topped with a variety of vegetables (cooked and raw) arranged on top. Vegetables can be seasonal, with toraji, bell flower roots, gosari, bracken, bean sprouts, and spinach often served. There may also be some other ingredients such as chestnuts, jujubes, ginseng, and a small amount of seafood or meat. An egg may be also served on the top. They also provide us a big scoop of gochujang and red pepper paste placed with the vegetables. Later on they will help us to mix the rice with the paste. This is so nice but just a bit spicy. Before all the dishes are ready, they will serve us with small appetizers, including kimchi!

Most of the korean food are spicy. However, there are also some which are not spicy, such as taufu soup, egg soup, dumpling soup and so on. There is one dish called Tteokbokki. It has long tteok (rice cakes) are stir-fried with carrots, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and cucumbers and stewed in a gochujang-based sauce. The taste is very good~ If have time, sure i will go there again~~
