Since i am living in a multi-racial country, Malaysia, i have the chance to try other food such as Malay Food. I am a person who not really like to eat spicy food, so when i saw all the Malay foods in red colour, sure i will think "oh my gosh, this is so spicy". And i will not try the food. However, i was forced by my mum to have a try on them. So strange, it does not spicy as what i had imagined. And this make me loves the food~But some of the food is still spicy and i will not try it unless they are really nice. Hari Raya Aidilfitri is a joyous occasion for Muslims, as it signifies a personal triumph, a victory of self-restraint and abstinence, symbolising purification and renewal. Every Hari Raya Aidilfitri, my dad's friends sure will invite us to go to their house to have a lunch. They also prepare a lot of kuih muih and cookies. Rempeyek is one of my favourites. It is cripy and has peanuts on it may also have some anchovies. Other than that, i also like kuih rengas. It is a kuih which is made by green bean and santan.

After trying the cookies and kuih, they will invite us to have a meal. I really like to eat the food as they are not spicy and very tasty~~Most of the time they will cook chicken rendang. This dish have a bit spicy but just a little bit. It is best when it eat with lemang. However, most of the time, the Malays will eat it with ketupat. They will also have chicken kurma. This is a non-spicy dish and is a bit sweet. They will also have a dish which is seem like a vegetable soup. I like to eat that also but i don't know the name of it.

Other than that, most the time before Hari Raya, there will be a market which will sell all kinds of malay food, such as fried mee, cookies and all kinds of dishes.
